Warranty labels and sealing labels made of self-destructing document film
The self-destructing document foil used by Walker tears or splits up on the first attempt at opening.
Security films are significantly more expensive than regular films due to these special properties.
Documents films such as PP, PE or PVC film can be printed in multicolours and also be stamped.
However, matrix removal is only possible when the punching contour is a regular shape such as a rectangle or a circle.
Security labels with matrix stripping can be processed by machinery.
However, if matrix removal is not possible, the label must be peeled off and stuck on manually.
Warranty labels and sealing labels of document film are available in different variants and for different purposes:
- Packaging seals are often made from splintering films.
Opening the packaging seal obliges the customer to purchase. - The seal of approval is often made of a tearing film. Attempting to remove the seal fails because the film tears immediately.
- Warranty seals with individual security punching from normal PE, PP or PVC films are used when the punch outline does not permit matrix stripping or when, for long runs, saving material costs is important.
