Label format

Always given as width x height with the width TRANSVERSE to the running direction and the height IN the running direction. A 100x50 mm label is thus 100mm wide and 50mm high, the label tape will be 103 mm wide and the label will lie transversely across the tape. If the label format is 50x100 mm, then the label is only 50 mm wide and 100 mm high. The label tape will be only 53mm wide and the label is then in the direction of the web.
