In-mould labelling

means that the labelling process takes place during the moulding process. For this purpose, printed film sections are inserted into the deep drawing mould before processing. During the moulding of the container, the container and label are firmly attached to each other. A durable, rather than non-destructive, separable decoration of the container is created. One advantage is the high strength of the decoration, which is particularly important for frozen products with a high exposure to condensed moisture.
