Analogue printing process

Letterpress: Printing process in which the parts of the printing plate to be printed are raised.

Flexography: Printing process in which the parts of the printing plate to be printed are raised, but softer printing plates and inks are used that are faster drying and less viscous than in letterprint.

Offset printing: indirect flatbed printing process, in which the inked printing plate transfers the ink to a rubber blanket and from there onto the substrate.

Screen printing: Printing process in which the ink is forced through a fine mesh fabric onto the material to be printed.
